I am a retro girl living in a modern world; An Interior Designer by profession, turned stay at home mom upon returning home from Russia with our first child. I love to bake and enjoy watching old movies-Doris Day, Rock Hudson, Lucille Ball. TV Land is my favorite network. If I were to have a dog I would name her Mrs. Beasley (after the doll and from the show "A Family Affair"). We feel so blessed to have been given the gift to expand our family through the Spirit of Adoption! We have been blessed with a Russian Prince and Polish Princess. The joy and light of our lives!
The name of this blog was inspired by my brother. He has a special name for one of our children, "Munchkin." It only seemed fitting when the Munchkin was moving to Moscow to name our adventurous blog as such. Follow along as The Munchkins (who are anything but Munchkin like!) relocate overseas from America! Mr. Munchkin has accepted a job in Russia, moving us from a sunny, sandy beach with warm temperatures to the frozen tundra of Moscow.
